For seasoning you have several options. You can use 2-3 tablespoons butter, NOT MARGARINE, or you can use 2-3 tablespoons bacon grease. It’s totally up to you.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Just enough water to cover beans.
Throw it all into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook for about 20 minutes. How easy is that?
