Jeremiah 29:5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them
INGREDIENTS
1 medium to large head of cabbage
2 – 14 ounce packages Butterball Turkey Smoked Sausage
2 -3 tablespoons seasoning (like bacon grease)
Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Cut cabbage into four quarters and core
Cut into bite sized pieces
Next, slice smoked sausage into bite sized pieces
Transfer cabbage and sausage to a large stock pot and add enough water to cover
Add salt, pepper and seasoning and bring to a boil over high heat (thought I had a pic but I guess I forgot to take one! Please forgive me)
Reduce heat to medium low and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes.
So simple, yet so yummy!
Serve with white beans and cornbread! YUM
