When preparing a Fruited Ice Ring boil the water first.  It helps keep the ice clear as it freezes

When freezing meatballs, place them 1/2 inch apart on a cookie sheet until frozen.  This will help keep them separated once they are placed in a plastic bag.

To prevent lettuce from browning, always cut with a plastic knife.  Any remaining lettuce may be wrapped in paper towels and placed in an unsealed plastic bag in the refrigerator.

Store mushrooms in the refrigerator with a paper towel.  This will help keep moisture away and prevent premature browning.

When chilling punch float an ice ring make from the punch rather than regular ice cubes.  It’s much prettier and it won’t dilute your punch.
