Want to make fried apple pies without the hassle of having to make dough? I found a way, (I think). Someone may have already thought of this and if they did then YAY for them! But hubby was wanting some fried apple pies and I didn’t want to have to make my dough, then wait for it to get cooled off in the fridge, then roll it out, etc. So, I thought what can I do? Then I noticed I had a can of crescent rolls in the fridge and thought “why not?” What follows …… nothing but pure deliciousness!
What you will need.
Fried apples (refer to Fried Apples recipe), cooked down (until all the liquid is gone)
1 to 2 packages crescent rolls
Butter

Start by cooking your apples (see fried apples recipe). Once they are done and cooked down put them in the fridge to cool.

Once you apples have cooled completely, prepare your skillet. Place 5 or 6 pats of butter in a skillet and turn it on medium high heat.

Cover apples with another crescent and press edges together to form a seal. Moisten with water around the edges to form a tighter seal if needed.
